Three meditative, but energetic techno landscapes from Chicago-based Kobe Dupree

Details:
Dingning Records label head Kobe Dupree delivers three hypnotic techno swirls with "Thought Experiments," an EP which emphasizes deep production complexity through brutally minimal soundscapes. Quarter-note kicks and consistent cymbal patterns hold us at a steady pulse throughout, as other elements of each track reveal themselves slowly. Complex oscillator voices swirl through different ranges of frequency, timbre, and stereo image; subtly-modulated percussion elements appear and disappear in steady hypnosis. The finished product is just as energetic as it is hypnotic, perfectly suited for an early evening or late morning mix.
